Baylor is now 3-21 against Oklahoma in the history of what can't really be called a rivalry. Until today Baylor had lost 11 straight at Oklahoma. But Baylor, despite being on the road, positively smoked the Sooners, 48-14. They even came from behind to do it, so that if you looked at the last three quarters it's even uglier--or more beautiful if you're on the Baylor bandwagon. The score in the last three quarters was Baylor 45, Oklahoma 0.
Baylor QB Bryce Petty threw for 220 yards--to just one receiver! (That's Corey Coleman--remember the name.) And Baylor did whatever it felt like doing. If Kansas State can topple TCU tonight and Petty can get his Bears to slice up the formidable K-State defense in their Big 12 season finale...who knows? Is Baylor, of all schools, going to the very first college football playoffs?
