Natsume announced that its Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley Nintendo 3DS game will be available in North America on November 4. In Japan, Harvest Moon is known as Bokujo Monogatari (translated Farm Story). The series was created by Yasuhiro Wada. The objective of the game is to rebuild a run-down old farm and turn it into a successful one. It inspired a number of network games including Happy Farm and FarmVille.
Natsume president and CEO Hiro Maekawa said, “Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley is truly evolving the franchise. Hardcore fans will love it, players who haven’t played a Harvest Moon game in a while will want to try it out, and new players will be introduced to the unique and charming world that is Harvest Moon.” GameStop is accepting pre-orders of the game here, and giving plush dogs (see below) as a bonus gift.
