Three years ago, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice didn't know what to say--and what not to say--when asked about her legal woes. It was a different woman, really--less assertive, less sure about her next steps. When a former business partner of her husband Joe Giudice was suing them, Teresa was careful--and awfully respectful about the man (her husband) who signed papers that later came back to screw her over. (Fast forward: Teresa and Joe Giudice will be sentenced on October 2 for multiple charges of fraud.) But was she innocent, or just savvy?
In the upcoming episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey (Sunday, September 21 at 8/7c on Bravo), former RHONJ cast member Jacqueline Laurita returns "and attempts to confront Teresa about her past." RHONJ fans might want to revisit the 2011 episode “You Can’t Trust Anyone Anymore.” It's the one where Joe Giudice jokes with his lawyer, saying "never tell the truth," and Teresa chimes in, "See? You gotta lie."
