Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Larry David will make his Broadway debut in his first play Fish in the Dark. He wrote the play and will star in the comedy about a death in a family, but Anna D. Shapiro of August: Osage County will direct. The play will open on March 5, 2015.
David told The New York Times: “I haven’t been in a play since the eighth grade, when I did ‘Charley’s Aunt.’ I seem to remember wearing a dress. That’s it. And I’m not even really an actor. But I’m still sleeping at night, and I hope that continues.”
