A big tourist attraction in White Hills, Arizona is a shooting range called Last Stop. Customers can fire automatic machine guns, sniper rifles and grenade launchers, among other weapons. On Monday, a 9-year-old girl from New Jersey was shooting a Uzi submachine gun at the range with her family when she accidentally shot and killed her instructor. The girl’s parents took a video on their cellphone of their child and what turned out to be a fatal accident. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Department released it publicly.
It is not against the law for a girl to fire an Uzi. There are no age limits for firing guns at shooting ranges, said Laura Cutilletta of the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence.
