Wearing a shorter do and a long flowing emerald-green gown, Emma Stone turned heads at the opening ceremony of the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of her new film Birdman, starring Michael Keaton. She’s had some great roles in great films—Jules in Superbad, Olive in Easy A, Hannah in Crazy, Stupid, Love, Skeeter in The Help, and now Sam in Birdman.
But that’s not all! Stone stars opposite Oscar-winner Colin Firth (The King’s Speech) in Woody Allen’s latest romantic comedy Magic In The Moonlight. One reviewer said of Stone’s performance in Magic In The Moonlight: “With her character underwritten by necessity, Stone fills the caps with an impressive comic shrewdness she has not revealed before.” Stone is known to display a wonderfully goofy face from time to time.
