A voracious Nevada fire swallowed 26 homes in Reno, stopped the heart of a man running from it, and forced the evacuation of thousands. Wind gusts clocked in at 80-miles-per-hour. At one point the fire covered six square miles, sauntering across the sage and pine in forty-foot-tall flames.
The same thing happened there in November.
