Sentencing yesterday near Cincinnati for R. Weathers, whose car last summer pummeled Sergeant Ronald Schaeper’s, propelling it across five lanes of highway into another car and finally the median. Weathers did not have a valid drivers’ license. Also, he was drunk.
Set to receive sixteen years, Weathers got just four. A permanently disabled Schaeper, through the prosecutor, had advocated for lenience.
